Customer experience will always be relevant to many industries. The way you treat customers can now be known by everyone online. I remember my wife and I were going on vacation years ago. We were looking for a great hotel that would provide us with a good experience that represents the city and environment we would be in. The hotel we almost going to choose had many of these qualities. That was until we read the reviews about the location! The customers had horrible experiences at this “nice” hotel. This came to me as a shocker because just five years before them we would not have known much about the customer experience unless we lived in the area and knew people who have been to the location. Customer experience has changed over the years! Since then I have presented in almost 50 states and different countries about how to make customers satisfied online and offline! Understanding more about who are customers are and how they operate can change the future of a business. Recently I was in a business program that brought together many people from different fields. One of the panelists was a high performer in her respective industry. After the session, I walked up to her and asked her how her company could grow so quickly in just a few short years. She mentioned “customer service” without hesitation! She mentioned how from the time someone hears about the business to when they become a paying customer the experience is A+.
